Areas of Expertise
Mark R. Luther, CPA, joined Catanese Group in 2021 as a Tax Manager. He is responsible for overseeing complex tax and consulting engagements for clients. He brings to the Firm a diverse array of prior experience in industries such as manufacturing and health care, serving in roles such as accounting manager, business analyst, and regional controller. He was promoted to Partner in January of 2025. Industries he specializes in at Catanese Group include physicians, law firms, manufacturing, real estate, skilled trades, transportation, auto dealerships, and not-for-profits.
Mr. Luther is skilled at maintaining a SOX internal control environment (which can prevent and detect errors in a company’s financial reporting process), presenting business cases for investment in capital equipment, analyzing business metrics, and providing strategic management for working capital. He works on consulting, tax planning and compliance, and accounting service projects for clients. He has worked for private, regional organization and also large, multi-billion dollar international corporations.
