Open Positions

Accounting & Tax Internship

We are looking for hands-on, motivated candidates who can work independently as well as in a team setting. Internship candidates work directly with firm partners and staff to cultivate professional skills needed for real-world client relationships. All interns receive hands-on training and guidance from experienced CPA’s. Interns will complete tax returns and assist in other accounting and audit projects as needed. Candidates should have leadership skills and a desire to grow beyond their current knowledge and responsibilities.

An ideal candidate should:

  • Be able to commit at least 20 hours per week during tax season (January – April 15)
  • Be a soon-to-be graduate of the accounting program (December graduates will be given priority).
  • Have a desire to establish their career at Catanese Group and enter a management/CPA track.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or pursuing that degree
  • Interest in pursuing CPA license and working in public accounting
  • Ability to commute to our Johnstown, PA office
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, leadership, client service, problem solving and computer skills
  • A passion for client service and a dedication to personal and professional development
