Job description:

For over 75 years, we have been providing business consulting, auditing and attestation services, business and individual tax services, cost analysis, business valuations, and fraud examination services. We are looking for motivated candidates who work independently as well as in a team setting. Our tax supervisors are responsible for the review of tax returns, providing technical assistance, tax planning, and research on tax issues. This position is responsible for the development and training of staff. Tax supervisors work closely with Tax Managers and Partners in providing innovative tax planning strategies for our clients. Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills and a technical proficiency. Candidates must have a positive attitude toward the firm’s vision and goals and adhere to the firm’s core values and mission statement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or business
• Certified Public Accountant license
• Minimum of 5 years tax experience in a public accounting firm
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in technology
• Ability to supervise 2-3 staff
• Ability to communicate  intermediate tax concepts to clients
• Perform technical review of simple to intermediate returns
• Some travel required
• Overtime required from January to April 15th
